Tasks Philanthropists On Genuine Outreach.
Founder/Chairman of NEC Foundation Ambassador Ebenezer Chukwugozim Nsaka has echoed plans to reach out to selected widows and less privileged members of society ahead of the coming festive celebrations, while calling on philanthropists and eminent personalities in Aniocha North, Delta North, and Delta State to genuinely reach out to these categories of persons with the desire to give a sense of community.
Speaking to Roundtown Media in a conversation on Monday 9th December, 2025, the Onicha-Olona-born philanthropist and businessman, affirmed that NEC Foundation had perfected plans to share in the support of a section of society's vulnerable group, a practice which he says has been a tradition since the Foundation was established.
Speaking further Ambassador Nsaka stated "as I said before, the outreach for widows and the less privileged by the NEC Foundation is not new. We have been doing this for a couple of years, so it is not being done with any ulterior motives.
" NEC Foundation was established to point people to the path of genuine charity through leading by example, and this has defined our activities over the years. A few weeks ago, we held our Charity Fitness Walk and just like what is being planned now, we also had an outreach for widows and the privileged.
Ambassador Ebenezer, a member of the Nigerian Anglican Communion where he serves in various capacities, including Political Adviser to the Bishop of Asaba Diocese, Vice-Chairman of the Asaba Battalion of the Boys Brigade, Ambassador of the Anglican Youth Fellowship amongst others, made a call to philanthropists and eminent personalities to work towards lifting the spirits of the less privileged.
He said " The festive season provides an opportunity for us to share joy and happiness around, and I think all those who are more fortunate than others can seize the opportunity to create more happiness. NEC Foundation is more interested in the silent smiles that many may not see, the gratitude that extends deep into the hearts and the provisions that our little support can give families we may not know.
" I therefore urge all who are more privileged, to make plans for those who have not been so fortunate in life, because such actions underscore the essence of the festivities, Ambassador Nsaka added.
