Ngwokor Hails Okowa’s Appointment to APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Delta State House of Assembly, Ika North-East Constituency II, Engr. Teddy-Jackson Ngwokor, has congratulated the immediate past Delta State Governor and APC Delta North Senatorial Candidate, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa, CON, on his inclusion in the party’s 2027 Presidential Campaign Council.

The APC recently released the expanded membership of the 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, with Okowa listed among the members of the Stakeholders’ Mobilisation Directorate. The council, chaired by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is expected to coordinate the party’s nationwide campaign and mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Reacting to the development, Ngwokor described Okowa’s inclusion as a recognition of his wealth of political experience, extensive network, and capacity to contribute meaningfully to the APC’s national mobilisation efforts.

According to him, “I warmly congratulate our leader, the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, on his inclusion in the 2027 APC Presidential Campaign Council. This is a well-deserved recognition of his experience, capacity, and longstanding contribution to political leadership and national development.”

Ngwokor noted that Okowa’s role assumes added significance given his emergence as the APC candidate for the Delta North Senatorial District in the 2027 election.

He said Okowa's combination of responsibilities at the national campaign level and as the party’s senatorial candidate for Delta North places him in a strategic position to contribute to the APC’s electoral success in Delta State and the wider South-South region.

“As our senatorial candidate for Delta North and a key figure in the 2027 campaign structure, Senator Okowa brings enormous experience and political reach to this assignment. I am confident that he will deploy these qualities toward strengthening the APC, mobilising stakeholders, and contributing to victory for our party,” Ngwokor stated.

The Ika North-East Constituency II candidate further pledged his support for the 2027 APC campaign, stressing that victory would require unity, disciplined grassroots mobilisation, and cooperation among party leaders, candidates, stakeholders, and members.

“I am fully committed to playing my part in this collective assignment. From our wards and communities in Ika North-East to the wider Delta North and South-South political space, we must remain united and focused. I congratulate Senator Okowa once again and wish him success in this important responsibility,” Ngwokor added.
