APC LEADERS/STAKEHOLDERS HOLD UNITY MEETING.
..... initiates peace and rebuilding process
Leaders and stakeholders of APC in Aniocha South LGA on sunday vowed to leave no stone unturned in their moves to rebuild and reposition the party into an election winning machine.
Addressing the leaders drawn from all the 11 wards of the LGA, Chief Engr. Hyacinth Enuha charged them to go all out and ensure the party is unified as part of the reconciliation moves by the National Caretaker committee led by H.E Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state.
He further charged them to ensure the party puts up a good showing in the forthcoming local council election by massively supporting the party's Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates.
Speaking earlier, the Chairman, Aniocha South APC Caretaker committee, Sir John Ekwuyasi harped on the need to vigorously pursue peace and unity within the party.
He appealed to all aggrieved members to put the past behind them and join hands with him to enable the party become a big, strong and united house, promising to carry everybody along.
The highpoint of the meeting was the formal presentation of the Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship candidates of the party, Sir Felix Ilomechine and Prince Sunday Esedebe respectively to the house.
Leaders present at the meeting include: Sir John Ekwuyasi (LGA Caretaker committee Chairman), Barr. Dennis Nwanokwai (SSA Legal & Constitutional matters to DSP), Chief Paul Onwuadiamu, Hon. Prince Fred Mordi, and Chief Clement Ukwadinamor.
Others are Chief Madrid Ogor (SSA to the DSP), Pastor Norbert Sochukwudinma, Pa Jacob Ofunne, Elder IK Ofulue, Prince Ejechi Harrison, Chief Dr. Isaac Adigwe, Chief Michael Obioji and Pastor Nick Okonkwo. Also, Alhaji Titi, Chief Sir Felix Ilomechine (Council Chairmanship candidate) Prince Sunday Esedebe ( Vice Chairmanship Candidate).
Also present are Chief Peter Dike, Pa PN Moloa, Mr. Anthony Ogbolu, Evang. Lawrence Chidi, Chief J.N Obah, Madam Felicia Iyase, and Mrs. Anthonia Keshi.
Those who were unavoidably absent and sent in their apologies include Hon. Angela Nwaka (Immediate past HOA member), Barr. Joe Asem, Hon. Pst. Prosper Kachikwu, Barr. Awele Nwoko and Chief Chris Osodi.
