APC Refutes Registration Postponement.

With a few hours to the official commencement of the membership registration and revalidation exercise of the ruling All Progressives Congress, the party hierarchy has respondes to trending news item which communicates a postponement of the exercise till further notice.

The news of the postponement came late Saturday, with notable online news mediums reporting it.

However in a swift reaction, the party has come out to disclaim and deny any rumors of a postponement.

This was made via a release signed by the CECPC National Secretary.

The statement reads:

DISCLAIMER: APC Membership Exercise On Course, Commences As Scheduled.

A "NOTICE" in circulation and ascribed to the APC CECPC National Secretary, Sen. John J. Akpan Udoedeghe Ph.D. is fake and highly mischievous.

The APC membership registration, revalidation and update exercise remains on course and commences as scheduled in the attached timetable.

As earlier announced, the CECPC has approved the constitution of State Membership Registration Committees for the Party's nationwide membership registration, revalidation and update exercise. This will be followed by a train-the-trainer workshop.

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
