WELCOME 2021, THE YEAR OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS. -YOUTH GROUP

As millions the world over mark the New Year's day, A delta state based national youth group has released a goodwill message to inspire hope and encourage industry.

In a release obtained by roundtownviews, the National President of Anioma Youth Forum Worldwide (AYF - W) Comrade Nnamdi Ofonye provided encouragement and hope for a better 2021 for Young Deltans and Nigerians, even as he called on leaders and political office holders to ensure that they perform as is needed.

The release reads:

In this new year, I enjoin and pray that we will stand firm in comradeship and ensure that our collective voice will make a way for our people through serious and critical engagements, participation and standing in the gap for our voiceless people at the grassroots.

Without any iota of doubt, AYF-W has been able to reposition the Anioma youths to the level where they can stand among its peers of ethnic youth groups on critical National and state issues.

Consequently, it is only ideal that we gear up to take this feat to the next level in this 2021 so that our voices can not only be heard but at same time, make a way for our people.

This is a clarion call on all of us as Anioma Youths irrespective of religious and partisan differences to come out let us take on the task before us in the interest of our land and people.



As a statement of fact, we hereby appeal to all our representatives from the Councillors to the Council Chairmen and up to the Senator, Governor and even the President to be ready to perform creditably well in line with the faith reposed in them through the ballot as we are committed to ensuring that all critical questions are answered and the needs of the people met.

Once more, I wish all Anioma sons and daughters across the globe a happy new year. May this year be a year of massive accomplishments for all of us in Jesus name. Amen.

AYF-W has in recent times led the renewed conscious of youths in socio-political affairs, and has lent its voice to topical issues in the Delta State and Nigerian Polity.

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

The Group Managing Director of Rainoil Limited Dr Gabriel Ogbechie, and Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State (Office of the SSG) Sir Jossy Honnah were amongst the roll call of indigenes of Idumuje-Ugboko and guests who visited the Royal Palace to pay homage and celebrate with HRM Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko, as he commemorated the 2025 Iwaji (New Yam Festival) on Friday, the 26th of September.  Speaking during his presentation to the Monarch, the Group Managing Director of Rainoil Limited Dr Gabriel Ogbechie who was visibly excited to be part of the celebrations expressed his deference and honour for the king, saluting him for his soft and gentle approach to leadership. PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
