Opinion: Consistency and Positive Performance, As Incentives For Change.



Dr Rufus E. Ebegba, DG NBMA

Dr Rufus Eseoghene Ebegba is the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Biosafety Management Agency (NBMA), domiciled in the Federal Ministry Of Environment.

Curiously, he has remained one of the very few who despite assuming office at the tail end of the Jonathan Dispensation, reemerged for another tenure of 4years to feature and work with the progressive designs of President Muhammadu Buhari's Administration.

For what its worth, there is no amount of propagandized expressions from what progressive minds have identified as enemies of the national development, that would successfully misrepresent the sincere intentions of the Muhammadu Buhari Administration.

The tenets of Probity, Prudence and Financial Conservativism have been once again brought to the limelight by this APC Dispensation, as necessary ingredients to build a stable socioeconomic foundation for any society.

Therefore, the conclusions that led to the reappointment of Dr Ebegba as DG/CEO of NBMA, most certainly passed through the furnace of critical assessment and evaluation.

Dr Ebegba receives an award of recognition from National Agricultural Seed Council (NASC) on behalf of his organization, NBMA.

It could be esteemed as the perfect response to a timeline of service and industry to the Nigerian State. Nevertheless, the sensitivity of the office ultimately makes it one that puts the need for expertise, thoroughness, innovation and flexibility, firmly on the discussion table.

Therefore, here is a charge to every Deltan and members of APC Delta State to underscore the attributes highlighted in this article as important for positive and effective leadership.

Around us is evidence that in our immediate society, the collective Delta Patrimony is out of reach and access to the Average Deltan, creating an evil wave of inequality.

This is what #Change must address.

Iwaji: Gabriel Ogbechie, Jossy Honnah Pay Homage, As Obi Justin Chukwunonso Nwoko Fetes Idumuje-Ugboko.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
