BRING DR EBEGBA ON BOARD, TINUBU URGED.

Pioneer Director-General of the National Biosafety Management Agency NBMA, Olorogun Dr Rufus Eseoghene Ebegba KSJI, has been recommended to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, for appointment to head of a Federal Parastatal.

This was contained in an open letter addressed to the President by the leadership of Voice of Nigerian Youthz (VONYz) and Delta Liberation Mandate Organization (DELMO), where the antecedents of Dr Rufus Ebegba were highlighted.

The letter which was signed on behalf of the groups by Comrade (Prince) Happy Igho Umukoro, argued along the lines of Dr Ebegba being a loyal party man, a technocrat, as well as, his performance as Director-General of the National Biosafety Management Agency NBMA, where he has many firsts in achievements to his name.

The letter reads below: 

Recommendation for the Appointment of Dr. Rufus Ebegba to a Major Parastatal or Agency.

Dear President Bola A. Tinubu GCFR,
President and Commander-In-Chief, 
Federal Republic of Nigeria.

We are writing to wholeheartedly recommend the appointment of Dr. Rufus Ebegba, the former poineer Director-General/CEO of the National Biosafety Management Agency (NBMA), and Chairman of the Rufus Ebegba Centre For Leadership And Environmental Sustainability, to a prominent position within a major parastatal or agency under the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Dr. Rufus Ebegba's distinguished tenure at the NBMA and his exemplary leadership at the Rufus Ebegba Centre for Leadership and Environmental Sustainability, underscores his exceptional qualifications for such a significant role. Throughout his career, Dr. Ebegba has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to environmental protection, sustainability, and effective governance.

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
