He said " Today, on behalf of the Nsaka family, NEC Foundation and every young Onicha-Olona and Anioma indigene that values patriotism, service and good conduct, I want to celebrate and congratulate my big brother and one of the most decorated military officers to emerge from Southern Nigeria Major-General Raymond Nkemakonam Ochei Mni, on his successful completion of 36 years of engagement and his subsequent disengagement from the Nigerian Army.

" Major-General Raymond Ochei remains a shining light to Onicha-Olona, where he hasn't failed to show his love and commitment to the development of his community.

" As a military man, Major-General Ochei served this nation to the fullest and best of his abilities, never for once compromising quality and effectiveness for inferior sentiments, no matter who or what was involved.

" His service to the military is evident, rising through the ranks to become one of the most distinguished financial administrators of the Nigerian Army".

According to Ambassador Nsaka the disengagement of Major-General Raymond Ochei comes with mixed feelings, especially for his support for the community and Local Government, nevertheless, his antecedents remain a learning curve that young and aspiring officers can make use of.

Nsaka said " Major-General Ochei's retirement is celebrated because we remember how he used his position to help in one way or another, and that is a good example that young and aspiring officers can learn from, balancing service and love for our heritage,"

" Many others and I who appreciate his impact, wish him a happy retirement, and urge him to consider other ways of serving society in his retirement, Ebenezer Nsaka concluded.
