Hon. Ezenyili Kelvin Obi (PhD) Receives Award For Contributions To Nation Building


The Executive Chairman of Oshimili South Local Government Area, Hon. High Chief Ezenyili Kelvin Obi (PhD), has been honoured with an Award of Adding Value to Nation Building for his remarkable service, visionary leadership, and continuous contributions to development.

The award was presented by Mr. Amaya-Apkala M. Matthew, the Promoter of Adding Value to Nation Building, during a courtesy visit to the Oshimili South Local Government Council Secretariat.

According to Mr. Matthew, the Chairman’s transformational leadership, people-oriented policies, and consistent efforts toward grassroots development made him deserving of this national recognition. He emphasized that when individuals like Hon. Ezenyili Kelvin Obi are given the opportunity to serve, they truly add value to the nation.
In his remarks, Hon. High Chief Ezenyili Kelvin Obi (PhD) expressed deep appreciation for the honour. He reaffirmed his commitment to promoting good governance, empowering the people, and sustaining the development strides currently experienced in Oshimili South.
He further pledged to continue working for the progress, unity, and upliftment of the local government and the nation at large..

PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS DORIS UBOH AS REF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY.

  Honourable Doris Olayemi Uboh MNSE has been appointed as the substantive Rural Electrification Fund Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.   The appointment, effective from January 23, 2025, is for an initial term of four years.   Honourable Uboh, a former member of the House Of Representatives, has been acting as the executive director Rural Electrification Fund ( ED REF) since March 2024 and will now settle into her role following her substantive appointment.   Doris Uboh is a New York-trained Electrical Engineer with years of working experience in the industry.  She was a member of House of Representatives, where she represented Ika Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011.
