AMBASSADOR EBENEZER NSAKA CONGRATULATES PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU AND GOVERNOR SHERIFF OBOREVWORI OVER THEIR RESPECTIVE PRIMARY EMERGENCES
Ambassador Ebenezer Chukwugozim Nsaka, Chairman of the NEC Foundation, and the Boys Brigade, Asaba Battalion, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, and the Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori JP, on their successful emergence as candidates of their respective political parties during the primary elections that produced them.
Ambassador Nsaka described their victories at the primaries as a reflection of strong internal party confidence, political experience, and broad-based support within their parties at the time of their nominations.
He commended the All Progressives Congress (APC) for what he described as a generally successful and well-organized primary election process, noting that despite the complexities that often accompany large-scale party exercises in a diverse political environment like Nigeria, the party was able to demonstrate a measure of coordination and structure in its conduct.
According to him, “Primary elections are a critical stage in democratic consolidation. They determine the direction, credibility, and strength of political parties ahead of general elections. The APC, in this instance, has shown effort in managing a very competitive process, and that is worthy of recognition.”
Ambassador Nsaka further noted that internal party democracy remains a cornerstone of national stability, stressing that political parties must continue to strengthen their internal mechanisms to ensure fairness, inclusiveness, and credibility in the selection of candidates.
He urged all political actors to see elections not as a battle of interests, but as a process of leadership selection that must ultimately serve the people and strengthen governance outcomes.
He concluded by wishing President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori success in their respective mandates and future political engagements, while calling for continued commitment to unity, democratic values, and the development of Nigeria.
“May the democratic process continue to strengthen our nation, and may leadership always reflect the will and hope of the people,” he added.
